Willow BascomAs a child growing up in Saudi Arabia and Panama, WILLOW BASCOM traveled throughout Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia. Her exposure to a wide variety of cultures influenced her early artwork. In 1993 she was struck by Lupus and after a decade with the disease reached a level of health that let her return to her passion. By integrating her exposure to world cultures she has developed a unique artistic vision and style. Because of the Lupus-caused damage to her hands, she outlines her work by hand and uses Sharpie pens, Copic pens, and the computer to produce finished pieces filled with vibrant color and often-playful design elements. To learn more about the artist and to see her work, visit her at WillowDraws.com.
